Weihenstephaner Festbier

by Matt 9/12/2008 10:29:00 PM

Weihenstephaner Festbeir is not a typical Marzen-style Oktoberfest beer.  It's this delicious, smooth-drinking, blond-colored bottlefull of happiness.  When I purchesed this six-pack, I came down with a nasty flu bug and saved most of the beers for the following weekend.  And I'm glad I did.  The beer not heavy, but still has a solid mouthfeel.

Just jotting this down.  If you were expecting more from my blog than reports on alcoholic beverages, you clearly don't knokw me well enough.

I want to say that Matthias, who joined us for dinner a few months ago, and who is also the only person to read this blog, suggested that I try Augustiner.  After checking my two favorite beer stores, I have struck out.  Must....keep....searching.

Matt Young I have a pretty short attention span. So I'll start this blog, but you'll probably wind up here month after month, desperately hoping to be amused by something new. But...nothing.

Really? Do I need this? What do I...well, I may use coarse language. And I'll probably write about unsavory topics. And I will likely bore you to death. So, I'm covered, right?
